Our Window / Door security screens can be installed over single doors, double doors, sliding glass doors, and windows. Each screen is manufactured with 304 structural grade "Tensile Tuff" stainless steel mesh, extruded aluminum alloy, and 410 grade stainless steel screws.
304 "Tensile Tuff" mesh was developed for use as a security screen due to its high tensile and elongation factor, which gives the mesh its strength, ability to be woven, and ability to be bent without losing its strength. The mesh screens allow for air flow while providing unobtrusive security. The stainless steel mesh is powder coated in black and the frames are available in several colors to coordinate with your home. These security screens are an excellent alternative to other security options such as bars or perforated steel doors and are perfect for homeowners looking for subtlety in security.

Is Triad Window Shield Field Tested?
Besides our own Triad testing team, Police Swat / local City Officials have tested Window Shield using 12 gauge shot guns, High Caliber Rifles, an Axe and Explosives.
Is Window Shield Bullet Proof?
No it is not. Nothing sold in the market can be considered bullet Proof.
What is the purpose of Window Shield?
To keep the glass from falling to the ground on Impact (Blunt force or Bullet) and keep the Intruder out.
What is the difference in 4 Mil vs 15 Mil Security Film?
The higher the number the thicker the film. Thicker security film offers the best protection
Does 15 Mil Security Film cost more than 4 Mil?
Yes it does. It is also harder to work with
What is the process of installing the film?
Step 1: Installers will measure each window. Step 2: All windows will be razor / soap cleaned before film is attached. Step 3: Film will be installed using commercial grade solution and HD Squeegees.
Will there be any bubbles?
Some tiny air /water bubbles may be present when Installers are done. The bubbles will dissipate as quickly as overnight or as long as 45 days. Triad will reinstall film after 45 days, if bubbles don't go away.
What is the window attachment system?
Ideally it would be great if we could laminate the entire glass 100% and put it back in the window Frame, but due to cost constraints, the next best option is to use 985 Silicone. The 985 silicone is Attached to the Security film and Window or Door frame making it one. This increases the overall strength of the security film as the silicone becomes a frame.
